Beaucoup de ces enfants ont des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler leur vessie et leurs intestins. Sans soins appropri\u00e9s, ils peuvent \u00eatre confront\u00e9s \u00e0 des probl\u00e8mes de sant\u00e9, \u00e0 l\u2019humiliation et \u00e0 l&rsquo;exclusion. Nos programmes aident \u00e0 surmonter ces difficult\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une \u00e9ducation et \u00e0 un soutien cibl\u00e9s. Outre la vessie, de nombreux enfants souffrent \u00e9galement de troubles du fonctionnement des intestins. Une irrigation r\u00e9guli\u00e8re des intestins peut \u00e9galement r\u00e9duire le risque d&rsquo;infections et de douleurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Le d\u00e9fi : les probl\u00e8mes de vessie pour les personnes atteintes de spina-bifida<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Les enfants n\u00e9s avec un <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">spina-bifida <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une fonction v\u00e9sicale paralys\u00e9e, ce qui les emp\u00eache de vider compl\u00e8tement leur vessie par eux-m\u00eames. Une pression v\u00e9sicale \u00e9lev\u00e9e et l&rsquo;incapacit\u00e9 de vider compl\u00e8tement la vessie entra\u00eenent un risque accru d&rsquo;infections, de l\u00e9sions r\u00e9nales et d&rsquo;escarres douloureuses.
